How much does it cost to sell?

NoLie takes a 6% platform fee — you keep 94% of the final sale price. No listing fees. No hidden costs. The fee is automatically deducted from your payout.

How long can I run an auction?

You can run auctions as short as 5 minutes and as long as 1 day. Shorter auctions create urgency. Longer auctions give more time for buyers to find your listing. Auctions longer than 1 day will be available soon.

Can I set a reserve price?

A feature for reserve prices is coming soon. A reserve price protects you from selling below a price you're comfortable with. Buyers will see whether the reserve has been met but not the actual amount.

How do I get paid?

Payouts are sent to your bank account through Stripe after the buyer confirms receipt or after the dispute window closes. You'll need to complete Stripe onboarding to receive payouts.

How does shipping work?

Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you create your listing. Once the auction ends, you ship the item with tracking to the buyer's address. Shipping labels are available through the platform when the auction is complete.

What if a buyer claims the item wasn't as described?

All buyers are protected by the NoLie Guarantee. If a buyer opens a dispute, NoLie will review the listing details and evidence from both sides. If the item was accurately described and photographed, you're protected.

Do I need a seller's permit?

Not to sell on NoLie. However, if you also buy items on the platform for resale, uploading a valid resale certificate will make your purchases tax-exempt.

Do I get charged when I bid?

No. You only pay if you win the auction. When the auction ends, your saved card is charged automatically.

You will be charged automatically if you place the winning bid. After the auction ends, the seller will ship the item directly to you. Final price may include applicable taxes based on your location.

When two bids are the same amount, the person who placed their bid first wins. This applies to both regular bids and custom bids.

Can I increase my custom bid?

Yes. You can raise your custom bid at any time during the auction. Your new maximum replaces the previous one.

Why was the auction extended?

If a bid is placed in the final moments of an auction, the timer extends to give everyone a fair chance to respond. This prevents last-second sniping.
